The 6th Special Topic Conference on Pattern Recognition and Applications (SPRA) 2026 was successfully held in Osaka, Japan, from March 19 to 21. The field of machine learning driven by big data has developed rapidly in recent years, and pattern recognition has become a popular research area. Given the rapid development of pattern recognition technology worldwide, it has become a priority to focus on cutting-edge research and development and to promote collaboration in multidisciplinary research areas. At this conference, you had the opportunity to learn about new developments in the field of pattern recognition and to exchange your work through poster presentations or oral reports. We hope to provide a broad platform for exchange for experts and scholars through efficient and close communication, and the collision of ideas with outstanding experts from all over the world.
