SPRA hosts a continuing education Professional Speakers Series, which is now held at a New Location! – Chops Steak, Seafood & Bar, 1117 11th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
It is SPRA’s mission to facilitate career development and advance the professional reputation of our industry. SPRA encourages dialogue by providing opportunities to meet with others to learn new and better methods of performing our craft, and interact with each other on a social level.
Networking and registration begins at 11:30am and the program starts promptly at noon ending around 1:15pm. Topics range from tips on how to effectively pitch media, how to write an op ed, crisis communications, case studies, writing skill enhancement, and speaking in public.
Luncheons are held each July, September, November, January and May with SPRA’s Networking Mixers on the alternating months.
